Sue Wintgens trained in both South Africa and England and has lived in England since 2002. She is an intuitive, creative therapist who brings an open sense of spirituality to her work. She has a successful private practice doing 3 day Couples Intensives as well as presenting at trainings and conferences in the UK, Holland, USA, Namibia and South Africa. She has found that working in Intensivesgives couples an opportunity to experience and integrate deep, effective transformative change and is an approach that often suits current needs for a meaningful shift in relationship.

Her work has been influenced by Hedy Schleifer’s Encounter Centered Couples Transformation (EcCT), to which she has added somatic skills, Memory Reconsolidation and a profound understanding of Theory U ( Otto Schwarmer), amongst others.

She is the author of a book, 'Stepping into the Circle of Life with your Couple' and has offered online foundational training in working this way with couples since 2020 and enjoys offering consultation to therapists of all approaches.

Sue is BACP (British Association for Psychotherapists and Counsellors) accredited.
